June is a fabulous time to celebrate the special men in our lives and this handmade card is perfect for doing just that! Featuring the soothing Waterside Retreat Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!, this design uses elements from the April “Lakeside Retreat” Paper Pumpkin and the Adirondack chair and cattails from the Waterside Retreat Suite.
The chair is stamped in Early Espresso and shaded with the Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends markers. Next, it was die cut with the matching Relaxing Waterside die. Cutting one set of cattails in Old Olive and a second in Pecan Pie allowed layering the snipped Pecan tops. Finally, the “Celebrating You!” was stamped in Misty Moonlight on the extra label from the Paper Pumpkin kit.
The moody blues and neutral colors give this card a relaxed, masculine vibe fitting June events such as Father’s Day, summer birthday or just hanging out at the beach or lake home.
