Spring is such a joyful time of year, and I love creating cards that celebrate the fresh colors and cheerful themes of the season. Today I’m sharing a handmade Easter card featuring the Easter Joy Suite Collection that brings together soft pastels, playful textures, and an adorable seasonal focal point.

For this card, I wanted the basket to really be the star of the show. The woven basket filled with decorated eggs creates the perfect Easter scene, and the sweet little bunny peeking out adds a touch of charm that makes the whole design feel playful and warm.
Layered Details that Add Dimension
One of my favorite things about this design is the layering. The basket and eggs are popped up on dimensional layers so they stand out against the background. The soft pink scalloped frame helps highlight the focal point while keeping the overall look light and feminine.
The patterned background paper adds subtle interest without overpowering the card. Those delicate floral elements help reinforce the springtime theme and coordinate beautifully with the pastel palette.
At the top of the basket, the bright yellow bow adds just the right pop of color. It draws the eye upward and ties the entire design together.

A Perfect Card for Easter Greetings
This style of card is perfect for sending Easter wishes to friends and family. The basket filled with eggs instantly brings to mind spring celebrations, Easter egg hunts, and time spent with loved ones.
Cards like this are also wonderful for:
-
Easter greetings
-
Springtime hello cards
-
Gift enclosures
-
Classroom or church celebrations
Simple Color Palette with a Soft Spring Feel
Using soft pinks, gentle greens, and touches of yellow helps keep the card feeling light and seasonal. The pastel tones work beautifully with the Easter theme and allow the detailed basket and eggs to shine.
If you’re recreating a card like this, try experimenting with different pastel combinations to create your own unique look.
Final Thoughts
I hope this card inspires you to pull out your spring stamps and dies and start creating! Handmade cards are such a special way to celebrate the season and brighten someone’s day.
